Align Acupuncture and Chiropractic offers a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, herbal formula prescriptions, chiropractic, physiotherapy, rehabilitation exercises, sports taping, and lifestyle recommendations.

Align also provides kinesiotaping, a method of functional proprioceptive taping, which has been used for the last 30 years but gained wider notoriety with 2008 Olympic athletes Kerry Walsh and Ari Taub, as well as Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, who has said the tape has “magical powers”.

About Dr. Johnson

Dr. Laurel Johnson is a licensed chiropractor and acupuncturist for the state of Oregon, and a member of the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce. She holds Diplomates in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), as well as being a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner.

She graduated, Summa Cum Laude, with a Doctor of Chiropractic and Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Prior to attending SCUHS, Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from University of California, San Diego.

Originally from Southern California, she has always enjoyed the landscape and people of Oregon and was happy to open the doors of Align here in January 2009.
